Ani-Magic - possibly my favorite con. The most relaxing, anyway. You don't have to run miles to get between events, and everyone is friendly. It's in a motel, so you have ground floor windows = window displays. (sigh, next year, it moves, no more window treats.) Cosplay by the pool - and costumes in the pool, this year (it was hot hot hot).

Due to personal idiocy and bad luck, I suffered photo trauma this year though - so if some of the photos aren't up to my usual standard, well, too bad.
Personal Idiocy Department - I left home the charger for the digital camera; so I only had 3-4 hours worth of time on it. Boy, did that suck. Of course, this meant I had to shoot more film. And the film camera?

Bad Luck - My Minolta began dying, with only a little bit of notice - the shutter started sticking, causing underexposures, and on some flash shots, you'll see a black line (cropped it off on most of them). Of course, some of the greatest shots didn't turn out at all. I did have a backup camera, but didn't really get suspicious and change until around Sunday...What a pain in the ass. I took the rent money and picked up a Maxxum 9; when something goes bad, I take it as a sign to upgrade. Screw the landlords.

There were a few double exposures, too. Oddly enough, they were exposures of AM last year, with this year laid on top of them - I put a few of the interesting ones up.

I found a couple more films that haven't been developed yet; they'll be added sometime later in November. (poor poor poor - need developing cash).
